FineMolds 1/144 Scale Millennium Falcon

It was a fun building one of the most recognizable and Iconic Sci-Fi space ship out there, For a small 144 scale kit, FineMolds did a good job producing this one with all the intricate details incorporated into it same as it's bigger counterpart the 1/72 scale staying true to the original design of the Millennium Falcon.

1/20 Ma.K AFS Polar Bear

Finally done with this Ma.K build, if you can track it down to my last WIP post of it here, it's about to celebrate the build's 3rd anniversary. It's just one of those transition wips/builds I usually do to get my modeling mojo in between, no rush, deadline and no rules/boundary limiting what I can do with it.

The size of the kit and dio is just simple enough for me to ease on my other builds and as well as a canvas where I can test my painting / weathering. I only did a small rework sculpt and detailing on the head, the dio is from anything suitable I can find in my stash of spare parts and scraps.

here you go.. PICS.!

Kotobukiya - 1/72 HMM Gojulas

Right Back to where it started... ZOIDS!

SIDETRACKED..................

Yup the post title sums it all up..... long absence on the usual long post describing all the delayed WIPS (I can self -destruct now) and Latest Completed Works (do I really have one..Naaah).  I've been really on a crossroad with all the pending and planned stuffs on the hobby side of things but family, real life and work will have to be the priority, for this is the only way I can fund my love for the hobby.....so bear with me.

F.A.T.S.O. Update 3

I got to prime the big pieces, now that i can see all the pieces without the contrasting colors and scratchbuilt parts i can continue to build up details armors as per my concept.
Started working on the main cannon mounts already and awaiting for the cast of the cannon gunbarrels for there will be 4 cannons for this mech.

Briegel WIP 3 : Initial Painting

Time for a little update on this.... not much but this will show the direction of the whole build. (i hope??)

before i posted photos of the armors treated with texturing... all the major armors are done the same way..

small detailing, like adding bars to the shoulder armor (nothing really drastic to keep the original briegel design.) The concept is like the briegel having upgrade parts to identify it as one of the leader of a Briegel Battalion ...Hahahah "THAT will be Awesome!

1/100 Modified Blaze Zaku : S.E.A.L Zaku Mariner

Another monoeyed mecha from me! And this time a modified blaze zaku from the gundam seed series and designed it for underwater use...hence the S.E.A.L Zaku Mariner concept.

1/144 Modified Rick Dias : Prototype for the 1/100 MG Modifications

I would like to share this 1/144 Modified Rick Dias.

This was my first attempt to do a modified rick dias ground type and serve as the template for its "Big Brother". The build itself is not that advance and shows my earlier years of modeling build wise... but still proud of this work up to this day, and i can still think of the work in progress very clearly, scavenging any household items and different mecha scraps.... ah those where the days!!

1/35 Briegel WIP 2 Updates : Detailing and Sculpting

Here are more updates on Zluca's 1/35 Resin Kit BRIEGEL.
...Some detailing done on the armors to simulate weld repairs and plate repairs

2012 First Entry

The blog has been floating in cyberspace without any updates for the past months.... but hey it still exist, with the holidays and all my reasons not to update the blog.... well major one is still me figuring this blogging thing... ahahahah.. and let us not dwell on that.

With all that out of the way i started back working on models again, and let us not forget F.A.T.S.O, which is pretty much overdue, but it is what it is, we need it to look good for modelers out there to love. F.A.T.S.O. is still a go and i add one more on the workbench ..........................

1/35 BRIEGEL resin kit designed and sculpted by ZLUCA.
I will also enter him in the 2012 MECHA competition at MAC forums per invitation by my good friend Alex a.k.a Oceansean.. Thanks Man!!

So here are some progress on Briegel...

Started with the big armors and internals, adding textures using putty/sponge and some detailing using MSG's, i also re-scribed some the panel lines on the kit to achieve more depth.
